Every wedding has the same dead zone: dinner is over, the dance floor hasn’t filled up yet, and half your guests are standing around the bar without much to do.
A casino table fills exactly that gap, and it’s why we’ve become a regular fixture at Metro Vancouver wedding receptions, stag parties, and stagettes since 1998. We work alongside DJs, photo booths, and planners across the region rather than competing with them for the guest’s attention.
Where a Casino Table Fits Into Your Wedding Day
Most couples set up a table or two during the cocktail hour or right after dinner service, giving guests something to do while the head table finishes speeches or the room is reset for dancing. A casino works particularly well for weddings with a wide age range in the guest list, since grandparents, cousins in their twenties end up at the same blackjack table, which almost never happens organically at an open bar.
A roulette wheel also just photographs beautifully next to a wedding dress, if we’re being honest about why so many couples ask for it.
Stag & Stagette Parties
Casino nights are a popular format for stag and stagette parties specifically, low-key enough for a rented cabin or a friend’s basement, but festive enough to carry an entire evening on its own.
We bring the same professional dealers and full table setup regardless of venue size, and funny-money chips mean there’s no real cash on the table and no license required.
Rehearsal Dinners and Welcome Parties
A growing number of the weddings we work also book us for the night before, either a rehearsal dinner or a welcome party for out-of-town guests who’ve just arrived and don’t yet know anyone.
Even a single table can work well for a smaller group like this, giving guests something low-pressure to do together on a night that can otherwise feel a little stiff, especially when half the room is meeting the other half’s extended family for the first time.
Choosing Games for a Wedding Crowd
Blackjack tends to be the easiest first table for a wedding, since most guests already have a rough idea how it works even if they’ve never played.
Roulette is the table couples ask for most often specifically for photos, since the wheel itself makes a striking backdrop next to a wedding dress or a wedding party in suits. Depending on the size of the guestlist you we can add poker, craps, baccarat or a money wheel as needed.

Wedding planning already has enough moving pieces. We coordinate directly with your venue or planner on load-in timing, work around your existing floor plan. Setup and teardown are handled entirely by our team.

How early should we book for a wedding?
Summer wedding dates are usually available if they don’t conflict with dry grad season. To guaranteed your rentals, we’d recommend reaching out as soon as your venue and date are confirmed.
Do you work alongside our wedding planner or DJ?
Regularly. We’re used to coordinating timing and space with other vendors and are happy to be looped into a planner’s timeline directly.
Is this appropriate for a stagette, not just a stag?
Yes, we run both regularly, and the format works exactly the same either way.
Can the casino tables run during dinner service, or only after?
Most couples choose to run tables during cocktail hour and again after dinner, keeping them closed during the meal itself so the room’s attention stays on speeches and toasts. We’re flexible on timing and will work around whatever your reception schedule looks like.
What if our venue has limited space for a full table?
Tell us your venue’s floor plan and we’ll recommend a table count and layout that actually fits, rather than assuming every reception has room for two or three full-size tables plus a dance floor.
