Updated October 2026.
Planning a staff party, Christmas party, or corporate event in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland and wondering what a casino night will actually cost? You’re in the right place.
The quick answer:
- From $299 for a single table and professional dealer in the off-season.
- $2,800 to $3,800 for a full casino night for about 100-150 guests (nine tables, with room for 73 guests to play at once), depending on your location and time of year.
- One fixed price that includes delivery, setup, teardown, all the tables, chips, cards, equipment, professional dealers and a pit boss for 3.5 hours of playing time.
- A 50% deposit locks in your date.
Below, we break down exactly what you’re paying for, what moves the price up or down and what else to budget for, so you can plan your next casino event with confidence.
Is a casino night worth it?
Cost matters, but so does the result. A photo booth serves two people at a time and a dance floor can leave timid coworkers on the sidelines. A casino night gets every guest involved. People mingle across departments, managers might deal blackjack to their own teams and a little friendly competition turns a standard staff party into the event people are still talking about in January.
Since 1998, Monte Carlo Nights has delivered more than 1,500 casino events, with professional casino dealers on every table. Past clients include RBC, KPMG, Canadian Tire, EA, UBC, White Spot and Best Buy.
What's included in a Vancouver casino night package?
When you book a casino rental with Monte Carlo Nights, one package price covers everything needed to run the night:
- Delivery, setup and teardown
- All the casino tables (blackjack, roulette, poker, craps, money wheel and more)
- All the chips, cards and equipment
- Professional casino dealers: one dealer per table, plus an extra dealer for every four tables so guests can play all night without stoppages
- A pit boss to supervise the dealers and act as your main point of contact on the night
- 3.5 hours of playing time
It’s a fun money casino night, so guests play with chips instead of cash. There’s no gaming license to arrange, no real money at risk and no experience needed. Our dealers teach every game right at the table.
How the timing works: we arrive before your guests do and set up the casino, so tables are ready and we aren’t moving equipment around during your event. Then we come back with the dealers and pit boss when you want to open the casino, which is usually after dinner and speeches. Our dealers are booked for a four-hour shift so they arrive 30 minutes early to ensure every table is full the moment you say go.
Real example: what a casino night for 100-150 guests costs
Here’s how we’d size and price a typical corporate casino night or staff Christmas party for 100-150 guests:
- 5 Blackjack Tables
- 2 Poker Tables
- 1 Roulette Table
- 1 Craps Table
Total of 9 tables, with room for 73 guests playing at once.
Typical cost: $2,800 to $3,600, depending on the location of your event and the time of year. That includes everything above for 3.5 hours of playing time. Your exact price depends on how large your casino needs to be for your guest list, so we quote every event individually.

How many tables do you need?
When we build a casino package, we aim to have 50% to 75% of your guests playing at the tables at any given time. For 100 guests, that means a casino sized for 50 to 75 players and the nine-table example above seats 73.
At a party, guests naturally flow between the tables, the bar, conversations and other attractions, so you don’t need a seat for everyone at once.
Got other entertainment planned? If your event also has a photo booth, magician, DJ, or other attractions, consider a smaller casino, since part of your crowd will be at those activities. We offer all of these as add-ons, so reach out and we’ll recommend the right mix for your event and guest count.
So, if the casino is the star of the night, plan for about 75% of guests playing at once. If it’s just part of the fun, 50% is usually plenty.
If space is a consideration, it’s important to note that each table needs roughly a 10′ x 10′ footprint, which covers the area for a table plus players and the dealer standing around it.
What affects the cost of a casino rental?
Four things move the price of a casino party more than anything else:
- The number of tables. This is the biggest factor. More tables means more dealers and more equipment, so the total goes up. The good news is that the more tables you book, the lower the cost per table, so larger groups get better value overall.
- Your event location. Events across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, from North Vancouver down to Richmond and over to Langley, include delivery with no extra travel fee. The further your event is from the Lower Mainland (Whistler, the Interior, or Vancouver Island, for example), the higher the price, because we add travel costs and higher pay rates for our dealers.
- The date and season. Our best rates are in July and August, and generally any time outside of November to January and June. When it’s quieter we have more availability and we don’t need to bring in extra vehicles and staff for a packed night. December Fridays and Saturdays are in high demand for Christmas parties, so those dates book up first.
- Your playing time. A typical casino night includes 3.5 hours of playing time, which is plenty for guests to try every game, take a break, and come back for more. If you’d like more time, extra playing time costs about $50 per table per hour. For the nine-table example above, that’s roughly $450 per extra hour. Most clients find 3.5 hours is the sweet spot.

What does the event organizer pay for separately?
Our package covers the casino. A few costs sit with you, the event organizer and it helps to budget for them early:
- Venue rental – Our casino tables fit in most ballrooms, banquet halls, offices and some restaurants
- Food and drinks – Guests are welcome to enjoy a drink at the tables
- Prizes – You choose the prizes, we handle counting chips and player winnings
- Optional add-ons – Photo booth, DJ, magician, Elvis, showgirls and much more charged at partner pricing
How to get the most from your casino night budget
- Book off-peak. July, August and most months outside of November to January and June come with our best rates and the most date choices.
- Book early for December. We recommend 2 to 3 months ahead for holiday parties and 4 to 6 weeks ahead for other corporate events and staff parties.
- Right-size your casino. If other entertainment is competing for your guests’ attention, a smaller casino can save money without losing the energy.
- Let your venue supply the chairs. There’s no need to pay for what’s already there.
- Ask about special pricing. Charities, non-profits and repeat clients are always welcome to talk to us about options.
- Send your details early. The sooner we know your date, guest count and venue, the sooner we can lock in the right package.
