Equipment & Games
Which casino games do you offer?
Monte Carlo Nights offers Blackjack, Texas Hold’em Poker, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, and a Money Wheel, which can be mixed and matched to build a custom casino night.
Can I rent a single table without dealers?
Yes, Monte Carlo Nights offers equipment-only rentals, which include delivery, setup, teardown, and pickup, though a professional dealer is recommended for the best guest experience.
What is included - chips, cards, accessories, funny money?
Monte Carlo Nights packages include tables, professional dealers, chips, cards, and all accessories needed to run a full casino night.
Are your tables authentic casino tables, or reproductions?
Monte Carlo Nights uses a mix of authentic and purpose-built equipment. For example, roulette wheels are official, beautifully polished casino showpieces with genuine casino felt layouts, while some tables might be built in multiple pieces for easier delivery and setup.
Do you have slot machines?
Monte Carlo Nights does not offer slot machines, since the company’s focus is on creating a social, memorable event, and slot machines tend to isolate guests rather than encourage mingling.
Who is liable for damaged or lost equipment?
Monte Carlo Nights dealers oversee equipment throughout the event, and damage or loss is rarely an issue. The chips have a funny way of finding their way into a player’s pocket after the event… but hey, that’s just the cost of doing business.
Do you provide chairs, and are they included?
Monte Carlo Nights does not supply chairs, since venues typically already have plenty on hand.
Can you provide décor, signage and theming as well as tables?
Yes, Monte Carlo Nights offers a range of décor, signage, and theming add-ons to make a casino night more glamorous. Just inquire to see what’s available.
Can we add our own branding like logo on chips, custom table felt, company colors/signage?
Custom branding on equipment isn’t a standard offering at Monte Carlo Nights, but the team is always happy to work with clients to explore what’s possible for their event.
What happens if a table or piece of equipment has an issue mid-event, is there a backup plan?
Monte Carlo Nights carries plenty of backup equipment to every event. It hasn’t been a real concern in over 25 years in business, but the team is always prepared for the unforeseen.
Our Staff & Dealers
Do you provide professional dealers?
Yes, every Monte Carlo Nights event includes professional, casino-trained dealers who keep the energy up, the games moving, and every guest feeling welcome at the table.
Are dealers included in the package price, or charged separately?
Dealers are always included in the Monte Carlo Nights package price, with no separate charge.
Do you provide a pit boss or floor supervisor?
Yes, for any event with more than one or two tables, Monte Carlo Nights brings a pit boss or supervisor to be the point of contact with the client and to oversee the dealers and keep the room running smoothly.
What do your dealers wear?
Monte Carlo Nights dealers wear black pants and shoes with a white tuxedo shirt and a bowtie, while the pitboss wears a full tuxedo. This gives our events an authentic, polished Vegas-style look.
What if we want to use our own dealers?
Renting our casino equipment and having your own guests or managers deal the games? We’re all for it! We’ll even provide a crash course training session for your dealers before the event. Blackjack, poker, and the money wheel are the easiest games for guests to pick up and deal themselves. For roulette or craps, we’d recommend bringing in one of our professional dealers.
Who supervises and monitors the event on the night?
A Monte Carlo Nights pit boss is the client’s main point of contact on the night, overseeing all tables and dealers. Clients can also reach the Monte Carlo Nights office any time before the event with questions.
Will your dealers teach guests who have never played before?
Yes, Monte Carlo Nights dealers always teach beginners – no gambling knowledge is needed. Dealers walk guests through the rules table-side so everyone feels comfortable, whether they’ve played before or not.
What casino experience and training do your dealers actually have?
Monte Carlo Nights dealers are professionally trained casino dealers, many with real casino floor experience. Monte Carlo Nights then “untrains” them on the security side so they can relax and focus on making guests have fun.
How many dealers will be at my event, and what is the dealer-to-table ratio?
Monte Carlo Nights brings one dealer per table, plus one extra dealer for every four tables so dealers can rotate through breaks without stopping play. A pit boss oversees the whole team and coordinates directly with the client.
Pricing & Packages
What is your minimum rental duration?
Monte Carlo Nights standard packages include 3.5 hours of playing time, with dealers booked for a full 4-hour shift so they arrive 30 minutes early and every table is ready when the event starts.
How much does a casino night actually cost?
Monte Carlo Nights casino nights start from $300, including delivery, setup, and a professional dealer for 4 hours. Final pricing depends on guest count, number of tables, event date and location.
Why is my quote different from the prices listed on your website?
Monte Carlo Nights does not publish set pricing online since every casino night is tailored to guest count, tables, duration, date and venue rather than pulled from a generic price list.
Why do prices vary by date?
Monte Carlo Nights pricing can vary by date due to supply and demand. December weekends are in high demand for Christmas parties, and once a date is fully booked no new clients can be accepted for that night.
When are your best rates available?
Monte Carlo Nights offers its best rates in July and August, and generally any month outside of November to January and June, due to greater availability.
What exactly is included in the price, and what costs extra?
Monte Carlo Nights package pricing includes delivery, setup, teardown, tables, dealers, chips, cards, and equipment for 3.5 hours of playing time. Optional extras such as Elvis impersonators, showgirls, a DJ, magician, or photo booth are charged at partner pricing.
Is GST included in quoted prices?
GST applies to Monte Carlo Nights services and is shown as a separate line item on every quote.
Do you offer discounts for charities or non-profits?
Monte Carlo Nights is open to discussing special pricing for charities and non-profits, and has arranged trade deals in the past.
How does the prize structure work? Who supplies the prizes?
At a Monte Carlo Nights event, the client supplies the prizes, while Monte Carlo Nights handles the logistics of tallying chips for Top Winners, running a Draw Ticket system, or even hosting a live Auction. For more info, you can read about how a casino night works.
How quickly will I hear back after submitting a quote request?
During office hours, Monte Carlo Nights usually sends quotes back within the hour. Requests submitted evenings or weekends are typically answered first thing the next business day, or within 24 hours. For anything urgent, a phone call gets priority handling.
Space & Guest Count
How many tables do I need for my guest count?
Monte Carlo Nights typically aims to have 50-75% of guests playing at the tables at any given moment, and helps clients choose the right number of tables based on total guest count.
How many tables can my venue physically accommodate?
The number of tables a venue can accommodate depends on room size and layout. Monte Carlo Nights uses a rough guide of a 10ft x 10ft footprint per table, which includes space for players and dealers. We are always available to help assess a layout of a specific venue.
What are the exact dimensions of your tables?
Monte Carlo Nights table dimensions vary by game. For example, Roulette tables are 4′ x 8′ with 2ft of surrounding clearance for players, and Poker tables are 3.5′ x 7′ with 3ft of clearance. Full dimensions and clearances for every table are listed on each individual game page:
Blackjack Tables
Poker Tables
Roulette Tables
Craps Tables
Baccarat Tables
Money Wheel
How much floor space should I allow per table?
A good rule of thumb for a Monte Carlo Nights casino table is about 10′ x 10′ of floor space, which comfortably fits the table plus players and dealer standing around it.
How many players does each table seat?
Seating capacity for Monte Carlo Nights casino tables varies by game. Blackjack and Baccarat accommodate 7 players, poker seats 9 players plus a dealer, Roulette, craps and the money wheel fit up to 10 players. Exact dimensions and seating capacity for each table is listed on the casino table pages.
Why are two sets of dimensions listed for each item?
The two measurements listed for Monte Carlo Nights tables are the table’s own size, and the extra clearance space needed around it for players and the dealer.
What's the minimum and maximum guest count you can accommodate?
Monte Carlo Nights has hosted events from as few as 10 guests up to over 2,000. For larger parties in the hundreds or thousands, the casino tables become one entertainment option among several, since not every guest plays at the same time.
Do you do smaller private/in-home parties, or only larger events?
Monte Carlo Nights will set up wherever needed, for any size of group – that’s the beauty of a mobile casino. The team has even brought tables up a gondola to the top of a mountain and set up aboard cruise ships out at sea.
Can guests with mobility challenges or disabilities comfortably play at the tables?
Monte Carlo Nights dealers are happy to assist guests who need help with actions at the table, such as moving chips or reading out results. Sitting tables like Poker are generally the most accessible, while standing tables like Craps have rails that may affect visibility for some guests.

Monte Carlo Nights recommends booking 2-3 months ahead for December holiday parties, and at least 2-4 weeks ahead for other corporate events and staff parties, since popular dates fill quickly.
Do you accept purchase orders and corporate invoicing with net terms?
Monte Carlo Nights typically works with a 50% deposit and balance due on or before the event, but can discuss specific invoicing arrangements for companies that require them.
Who is responsible for advertising and promoting our event?

Delivery & Setup
Can the equipment be set up outdoors, or on a patio or tent?
Yes, Monte Carlo Nights tables can be set up outdoors, on a patio, or in a tent, provided there’s adequate lighting after dark, cover in case of rain, and flat, level ground.
Are there surcharges for stairs, small elevators or difficult venue access?
No, Monte Carlo Nights does not charge extra for difficult venue access such as stairs or small elevators. Delivery, setup, and teardown are included in the fixed package price and factored in at the quoting stage.
Can you provide a room layout or floor plan for my venue?
Typically a venue’s own event or banquet manager provides the floor plan for the night, though Monte Carlo Nights is happy to help with table placement if additional assistance is needed.
When will delivery take place, and can I request a specific time?
Monte Carlo Nights typically schedules delivery and setup well ahead of the event start time, having tables set up before your event event begins. We then have dealers arriving 30 minutes before you want to start the casino part of the night. We are always flexible and specific delivery windows and requests can be confirmed with clients as the event approaches.
Does setup and teardown happen during my event hours, or outside them?
Monte Carlo Nights completes setup before an event starts and teardown after it ends, so the full rental period is dedicated to playing time.
When will I receive confirmation of delivery and strike times?
Monte Carlo Nights confirms delivery and pickup details with clients as their event date approaches.
What is your delivery range, and what are the delivery fees?
Monte Carlo Nights delivers with no additional travel fee from West Vancouver to White Rock and over to Abbotsford. Venues outside that area are quoted accordingly, with all fees included upfront in the total package price.
What happens if I need the setup completed several hours before the event starts?
Early setup well ahead of an event’s start time is standard service for Monte Carlo Nights at no extra fee, and the team can also accommodate tighter timelines, such as setting up quietly in another room during an event.
What happens if it rains on an outdoor/patio setup we've booked (weather contingency)?
Weather and other event-day logistics are typically handled directly between the client and the venue. Monte Carlo Nights is happy to offer advice or feedback, and will go along with whatever contingency plan is in place.
I live in Kelowna, will you travel here to put on a casino night?
Yes, Monte Carlo Nights loves to travel. Typically, we service Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, but we don’t mind setting up a trip to Whistler, the interior, or the island. The quote would reflect travel costs.
Rules & Regulations
Can we play for real cash, or is it play money only?
Monte Carlo Nights casino events are 100% funny money – guests play with chips, never real cash, so there’s zero financial risk to anyone at the tables. For charities and community groups wanting to raise real money, Monte Carlo Nights can also help set up a licensed fundraising Texas Hold’em poker tournament where players buy in and win real prizes.
Do I need a gaming licence for my event?
No licence is needed for a standard fun-money casino night with Monte Carlo Nights – it’s just for fun. Charities or community groups hosting a real-money Texas Hold’em poker tournament will need a gaming licence.
How much money can we realistically raise at a charity casino night?
The amount a charity can raise at a Monte Carlo Nights casino event depends on guest count, ticket price, and event expenses – more guests and a well-priced ticket mean a bigger night for the cause. For licensed poker tournaments, total buy-ins are capped at $10,000, with exceptions available on request.
What is the difference between a funny-money casino night and a licensed fundraising event?
A funny-money casino night with Monte Carlo Nights uses play chips for entertainment only, requires no licence and is open to everyone. A licensed poker tournamnet allows real cash buy-ins and real cash winnings, requires a gaming licence and is limited to charities and community groups.
Can we serve alcohol at our event? Do we need a liquor licence?
Yes, guests can enjoy a drink at the tables during a Monte Carlo Nights event. Liquor licensing itself is handled directly between the client and their venue, not by Monte Carlo Nights.
Are there age restrictions for guests playing at the tables?
There are no age restrictions at Monte Carlo Nights casino tables since no real money is involved. Tables are suitable for adults of all ages, and younger guests have joined in with parental permission.
Are you insured? Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes, Monte Carlo Nights carries liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance on request. Most venues also carry their own liability coverage.
Everything Else
How is a casino night different from just hiring a DJ or other entertainment for the same budget?
A Monte Carlo Nights casino night is a more inclusive choice making for a great icebreaker that gets guests mingling, gives them something to do, and sparks some friendly competition. A DJ-only dance floor can feel awkward for coworkers who don’t want to be the first ones dancing in front of others, whereas a casino night gives everyone an easy, low-pressure way to join in.
Can guests who don't want to play still enjoy the event (just watch, socialize, etc.)?
Absolutely. There’s no pressure to play at a Monte Carlo Nights event. Guests are welcome to watch, mingle, or jump in at the tables whenever they’re ready. Our dealers are always ready to explain the rules to beginners to help them start playing.
What happens if we want to extend the event's playing time on the night itself?
Just talk to the pit boss, who is the client’s point of contact at every Monte Carlo Nights event. They’ll coordinate with the dealers to see if they can stay longer and walk the client through the options on the spot.
Can I see more photos, video, or reviews before I commit?
Yes – Monte Carlo Nights has a full Photo Gallery on the website, plus additional photos and reviews on its Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business Profile pages.
Is a casino night good for team building, or is it purely entertainment?
A Monte Carlo Nights casino night is a genuine team-building activity! It mixes departments and hierarchies as guests play together. Popular customizations include having managers deal blackjack to the crowd, or splitting guests into teams with winnings tallied together for prizes.
Can we combine a casino night with an awards ceremony, dinner, or speeches in the same event?
Yes, it’s very common to combine a Monte Carlo Nights casino night with dinner, an awards ceremony, speeches, an auction, or other event activities. The team is used to working around a full evening’s schedule, setting up before or during dinner and opening the casino when it’s time.
